I came across this great map today of Houston, Texas from 1912. The detail is fantastic, and you can clearly see the horses and light rail system. The map boasts that Houston is where “17 Railroads meet the sea”, in addition to showing a closeup of a new viaduct and the county courthouse. Check it out for yourself.
