We are very excited that after much planning and preparation, version 2 of The Urbanist Dispatch has been launched!

On the surface, we have added a new look that now looks great no matter what device you are browsing the web with – computer, tablet, or a handheld mobile device. This gives greater flexibility to accommodate all viewers on all platforms in addition to making content easier to navigate as well as make it easier to find new article that have been written.

As far as content goes, there is lots of it. New articles are adhering to new and easy-to-use categories. There is plenty to see, including lots of traditional style informative articles, new videos, and a new section dedicated to infographics.

This new content will continue to come on a regular basis as we have added a writing staff of people from around the globe to help write and edit content. Our new authors and editors will be supplying our readers with new insights on the issues as we look to further the discussion about how to make the places we live, work and play better. You can learn more about them here on our about page, click their names to get a more detailed bio of each staff member. If you are interested in joining the team, click here to see what we are looking for in a contributor or editor.

We also invite you to join us on social media. We have been working to increase our presence on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. So come share, tweet, and pin with us as we take our conversations out into social media. Still in place is our robust comment system that allows for easy interaction on the bottom of every post, making it a breeze to interact with other readers. If you’re not into social media, you can still get email updates. Just scroll down and use the signup form at the bottom of every page, then you will get notified when new content available for you to check out.

As we approach our third year online, we are thrilled to be able to continue to bring you high quality content with a worldwide focus on how we can improve humanity through making places better. Thanks for coming along on this journey with us, there is a lot of great stuff on the horizon!
